Stondon is a thriving village situated in mid Bedfordshire and like many villages there is a lot more to Stondon than you might think! Hence the purpose of our website, to collate all there is to know about Stondon in one place.

This website tells you about our amenities and the numerous activities which take place in Stondon, about the businesses in Stondon and the history of our village. It is intended to be both useful and interesting.

Proposed Travellers Site

Did you know that following CBC's failure to create a Travellers Site in Clifton, they have suddenly decided to locate it next to Derwent School instead?
Some local residents are opposed to these plans and have been circulating the village with a petition. If they haven't caught you yet, and you would like to add your name, you can do so online at http://www.gopetition.co.uk/online/34520.html.

Wanderbus page goes live.

The latest new arrival on Stondon.net is the brand new Wanderbus homepage.

The Wanderbus is a volunteer run Community bus service and from Stondon you can go to Hitchin, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Stevenage. All Wanderbus timetables are available on this page.

Everyone at Wanderbus is getting excited about the imminent arrival of their new bus - more news next month.

Changes to Centrebus timetables
